UCI member universities offer a number of scholarships for international students to study in their campus for a period of a semester up to one academic year and also for full degree programs.

International students coming to TBU in Zlín within LPP/Erasmus programmes are eligible for the accommodation scholarship. Applications for accommodation scholarship are to be submitted at the host faculty, signed and passed to the International Office. The students will receive the decision on the accommodation scholarship to be paid during the entire period of their study at TBU in Zlín in the given calendar year. The respective amount will be specified by the relevant Rector’s Decision. Student must collect the scholarship amount in the Main Cash Office at the Rectorate.
On their arrival, international students coming to TBU within LPP/Erasmus programmes will be offered a free course in the Czech language. International students can take their meals at subsidized prices in the Refectory run by TBU in Zlín.

Scholarship for New International Student
From the academic year 2018/2019, all new international students admitted to study in a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s programme taught in the English language at TBU will be granted a monthly scholarship.

1. VLIR-UOS ICP scholarships
VLIR-UOS provide 12 full-fledged scholarships for the ICP-programme of the Master of Statistics.
The scholarship eligibility criteria include (non-limitative list, for information purposes only):
Nationality and Country of Residence: a candidate should be a national and resident of one of the following 31 countries (not necessarily the same country) at the time of application:Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe
Asia: Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Palestinian Territories, Vietnam
Latin America: Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua, Peru
Age: the maximum age for a Master programme candidate is 35 years. The candidate cannot exceed this age on January 1 of the intake year.
These scholarships consist of the following payments:
- Allowance as of September 2018 (this includes the accommodation and family allowance): € 1150/month;
- Several one-time payments;
- Insurance, international travel and tuition fee.

The Government of Flanders has launched this new scholarship programme in 2015, Master Mind Scholarships. For the academic year 2017-2018, it awarded up to 45 scholarships to outstanding Master students from all countries. The programme aims to promote the internationalization of the Flemish Higher Education.

BTC is the Belgian development cooperation agency that supports developing countries in their fight against poverty. 1. Georgius Agricola Scholarship
Students wishing to come to VSB-TUO as Exchange Programme students can apply for Georgius Agricola Scholarship. The Georgius Agricola Scholarship is not established for students who were given a scholarship from international programmes.
The Georgius Agricola Scholarship is determined for paying expenses connected with a short-term study of a foreign student in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programmes realized by VSB-TUO for the period from one to four months; it is especially determined for completing chosen subjects, a project completion, a seminar work, a part of thesis.More information is available online here
2. Motivational Scholarship
Students at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava having excellent results in the field of science and research can be awarded a motivational scholarship.
The aim of motivational scholarships is to financially support students of doctoral programmes at VSB-TUO who achieve excellent results in the area of science and research. This should lead to the greater motivation of doctoral students to work scientifically and thus to increase the scientific performance of workplaces at VSB-TUO. At the same time, a good overview of the performance of students within the entire university is achieved this way.
The selection procedure of students:
The first selection of students in doctoral programmes is done by faculties and research centres on the basis of scoring results in scientific research activities, following a common point scale. Then the Vice-Rector for Research and Development makes a shortlist to support the best 100 students in accordance with the number of points achieved.
The conditions to grant the scholarships:
The students selected must have the status of a "student", must not interrupt or terminate their studies, and must fulfil their study obligations according to the plan established by their tutor.

2. Holland Scholarship (HS)
This scholarship is meant for excellent and very talented students from outside the European Economic Area (non-EU/EEA) who intend to follow their bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands. The scholarship only applies to non-EU/EEA students who pay full institutional tuition fee.

UCN Scholarships
Each year UCN awards a number of tuition fee scholarships to highly-qualified non-EU/non-EEA applicants. The scholarship provides a reduction on the tuition fees for the entire duration of the study programme.

Requirements and selection criteria
To be considered for a scholarship, the applicant must fulfil the general admission requirements as well as the programme specific admission requirements. Moreover, the application should show high qualifications based on the following selection criteria:
- Work experience relevant to your choice of studies
- Other work experience
- Additional proficiency (e.g. parts of higher education level courses, summer school or other upper secondary level courses)
- Your motivation letter
- Studies or work in a country other than your home country
- Relevant courses or classes
- English language qualification
